The department of Computer Science and Engineering was started in the year 1998 with an intake of 60 students. Now the intake is raised to 90 students. The department has experienced staff members who are much dedicated to their works. The department is well equipped with latest P4 computers and software.

OBJECTIVES

        1. To Develop Quality Technical & Scientific man power to meet the challenges of the knowledge era

        2. To provide Sound knowledge of computing in Engineeering Domains

        3. To develop students ebility in problem solving areas of computing

        4. To enable students to identify new computing trends and understand emerging technologies

The department is headed by Mr.p balaji who has around 9 years of teaching experience.Faculty members attend various seminars and conferences every year. They are also involved in organizing workshops and seminars regularly. They are also publishing research papers in conferences.

Students Achievements
1. Students are made to participate in different events which are conducted by other colleges. Students have won many prizes in the events they have participated.
2. Students have markable records in sports.
3. Number of students has passed out with more than 85% in their academic.
4. Our students placed in all MNC’s holding good position.
Association Activities
1.As regular practice the department conducts National level Technical Symposium to bring the skills of students in the recent developments.
2.Experts from industry are invited to give ideas what the industry expects from the students. New technologies are taught to students through Guest Lectures.
3.Students are taken for Industrial Visits to have practical knowledge about the subjects they study.
4.Students are allowed to go for In-plant Training at least a week in every semester to have exposure in Industrial perspective.
Placement and training
Our college has a separate Placement and Training Cell which is active part with the department informing recent call Fars. Inspite the department conducts aptitude tests as well as group discussion and personality development programmes enriching the students for their placements.
Seminars and conference
As regular practice the department conducts National level Technical Symposium to bring the skills of students in the recent developments. Staff members and Students have presented their papers and projects in various colleges.
