Students are encouraged to participate and present papers in seminars at inter college and intra college levels. To keep them abreast with the current development, enlightened scholars from Pondicherry University and NIT-Trichy are regularly invited to address the students. Eminent industrialists with vast experience are often invited to impart practical knowledge of industry to the students. Our students are immensely benefited by such Professional Associations as ISTE, IETE, IEEE, CSI, IE and Environmental Association.

In addition to academic activities, the college is humming with Co-curricular and extra curricular activities to stir up the latent talent in students. Our students are enthusiastically participating National Service Scheme and we have two active NSS units.

In order to develop the all round personality of our students, they are encouraged to involve themselves in activities related to Arts Club, Quiz Programs, Blood Donation Camps, Eye Camps, NSS & Leo Club,Citiaen Consumer Club activities which are regularly conducted in our College Campus.

To cope up with the fast growing trends in Engineering and Technology in emerging areas, both Faculty Members and students are sponsored for a number of advanced courses and training programmes and further they are deputed to participate in National Level Seminars. Eminent professors, Experts from Industries and Management Consultants are invited to deliver Guest Lectures. It is also proposed to conduct a series of career guidance programme in topics like

       1.How to face interviews.
       2.Group Dynamics.
       3.Communication skills development.
       4.Preparing for higher studies in Engineering and Management.

Extra curricular activities include NSS, Leo Club, etc., Every year with the Coordination of Blood Bank, JIPMER, Pondicherry, Blood Donation camps are conducted. With active participation of Aravind Eye Hospital, Pondicherry, one day Eye Camps are conducted during Independence Day and Republic Day. Patients in large numbers from the surrounding villages are taken to Aravind Eye Hospital, Pondicherry for Cataract operation. Our College have a full fledged language laboratory to improve the communication skills.

For stronger mental health, better physical health is needed. In order to achieve that, our college is offering all facilities for Sports and Games such as Cricket, Football, Volleyball etc. Indoor Games are well encouraged.Our students are active participants in all these physical activities. To enthuse our student's sports activities, State Level competitions are regularly conducted in the College premises.
