Electronics & Communication Engineering

The department of electronics and communication was started in the year 1995. We adopt into the fast growing high-tech world and without compromising for the best academic performance. We offer B.E program in electronics and communication engineering. The department has best faculty, mentor, peaceful infrastructure and laboratories. These laboratories provide facilities in the areas of Electronic Circuits, Linear and Digital Integrated Circuits, Microprocessors and Microcontroller, VHDL, Digital Signal Processing. These laboratories are also equipped with the latest version of software like Xilinx, Edwin XP and MATLAB.

The facilities of the department are highly qualified and are successfully develop their curriculum with their novel teaching techniques. Our dedicated faculty members have sound knowledge in emerging areas like embedded systems, VLSI design, and communication systems. The department is recognized for research under Information and Communication Engineering Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The department has signed MOU with several companies which provide training to faculty and students to recent techniques. Experts from the industry are periodically invited to give lectures/ demonstrations to the students on the latest developments in the field. Students are given to exposure to industries by industrial visits and industrial training session. Various workshops and training Programme are frequently conducted in the department. We prepare students as professional engineers through an education in fundamental principles presented in the context of real application and design. In addition to fundamentals of science and mathematics, the program provides a solid background in devices and circuits, analog and digital electronics & electromagnetic electronics & communication engineering finds applications, in all fields of engineering and also in daily life. The department has consistently achieved excellent results in the university examinations.

To become a department that imparts quality higher education with needful horizontal exposure and vertical expertise through its programs in the field of ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING to meet the needs of the society.

The department will involve in sustain curricular and co-curricular activities with competent faculty through teaching and research that generates technically capable holistic ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING professionals to serve the society with commitment.

  • Personality development classes are organized at regular intervals in the college campus which works as a tool for the students to bring out their strengths and self confidence for industry & corporate sector. In this process, the analytical and communication skills are toned up by a team of experts which play an important role in shaping up the future of the students. In electronics & communication department regular technology lectures are conducted every week so that the students are well aware of the latest advancements in the field of electronics which are going on in the corporate and industrial world and also they can enhance their skills and knowledge. A number of industrial visits are being organized frequently. Various activities are conducted are workshop, guest lecture, conference, knowledge sharing and events. Most of the value added courses are, network & security, project based learning using MATLAB, Embedded Systems, Embedded Systems with C Program. Department used to organize a parent teacher meeting in each semester to make the guardians aware about the guardians aware about the regular activities of the wards. After participating in this meeting the parents get informed about the updated class and training attendance of ward during current semester. The meeting aimed at reducing the gap between teacher and students.
